Man, excellent tip! I'm going to remember that one. IMHO, I think external printer files would have become a lot more "popular" with programmers if IBM had given us a *well-designed* SDA look-alike for PRTFs. RLU doesn't count; I put it right up there with S/34 style SEU (1 line at a time). If they had given us something anywhere close to Gumbo's RDA, I think more programmers would have embraced it. We're close to installing v5 here, and I'm going to try to get permission to load Code/400 on my box. I'm curious to check out the report designer I've been hearing people talk about.
