thanks for the previous information.

I am using TRCJOB to try and identify excessive I/O and redundant
processing, but it's difficult to decipher the output. Has anyone got
details on how to analyze the TRCJOB output or can suggest a better tool.

TIA

Cheers
Robin

Subject: Performance converted OPM v native ILE

Hi all,

I am looking at improving the performance of a suite of programs that were
converted to ILE via the command CVTRPGSRC and then recompiled. I am hoping
you can provide information on techniques or ways to define variables that
are much more efficient in ILE or old coding techniques to be avoided in
ILE.

Is there a Redbook available on ILE performance.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Robin
