On CRTPF you have:

On CRTSRCPF you have:

Allow delete operation . . . . .   *YES          *YES, *NO

But neither CHGPF, nor CHGSRCPF, seem to address these parameters.

Does anyone know how to add a member, and it's records, to a file created
like this?  Obviously IBM does.  Or how did they create this file in the
first place?
