I just got a copy a week ago but haven't started looking at it yet. -----Original Message----- From: rob@dekko.com [mailto:rob@dekko.com] Sent: Friday, November 22, 2002 2:05 PM To: rpg400-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: Retrieve file library at run time This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] No, you should have started with Code/400. It's smart agents will build a nice INFDS for you. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Thanks to you and Scott for the information. I thought the library should be in the INFDS but when I look at a source member that is supposed to have all the fields already defined it wasn't there. I should have started with the manuals. Thanks again. API QUSROBJI does not return the library associated with the file that is open in the program. Instead, it returns the library of the first file of the name specified that is found in your library list (presuming you specify *LIBL). List Open Files (QDMLOPNF) is the API with that information. You can use the INFDS positions 83-92 have file name, 93-102 have library. Gary Guthrie "Chevalier, Rick" wrote: > > This message is in MIME format.
