Hallo,

a quick and dirty method is:

1. Create a spoolfile with DSPMSGD
2. Create a physical file with the following fields:
    MSLEER     1A   LEER 1
    MSMSGI     7A   MESSAGE-ID
    MSLER2     7A   LEER 2
    MSTEXT   132A   MESSAGE-TEXT
3. Copy the spoolfile into this file with CPYSPLF
4. Now you can work with the Message-File in RPG.

However using the API QMHRTVM would be a more professional method.
