I always define the single quote as a constant: DQT C CONST('''') and use it when I need a single quote in an expression. C EVAL sqlstmt = 'SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE + myAlpha = ' + QT + alphafield + QT + ' ORDER BY something' This method has always worked for me.
