Unfortunately not everyone knows that if you ask a general question, without doing some research on your own, that you will get flamed. I agree that Scott has made tons of contributions to this group and to the community as a whole, but all that goes down the drain as soon as you chew out a newbie for asking an over simplified question, IMO. Maybe we have forgotten what it is like to first start using RPG??? My opinion was it was an out-of-line email, but yet correct(some what) in it's message.
