The more I work with this stuff, the more fun I'm having. For example, I've set up a procedure that formats an OVRDBF command. I want to execute that via QCMDEXC. Using a couple of prototypes, I end up with the following: callp Exec(OvrDbf(xcdds:DFDSL:DFDSF:DFDSM):128) "Exec" is my prototype for QCMDEXC, while "OvrDbf" is my prototype to format the OVRDBF command. This is the way programming should be! This single line replaces 10 lines of code in my original program (two calls to external programs) and a couple of work variables. Thanks again everybody on the compiler team - you're doing a great job. Joe
