The part of this I am having the most difficulty with is the NEED to load 
13,000 records into a subfile in the first place. Even if you can cram 13 
records on a page, that is 1,000 presses of the roll key to navigate though 
this monster.

Never mind the performance considerations, the user starting this job, taking a 
vacation to Aruba and returning before the 1st screen shows.

I just can't imagine the requirement or justification.

Print a report, convert it to PDF and email the user.  The point I am trying
to make is that any alternative to a page at a time subfile is going to be a
lot of work.  If you want to go through a lot of work, you might as well use
some new techniques and enhance the application.
