If you are joining File 1 to File 2, key the the join file by the employee SSN of File 1. Use JDUPSEQ for Last Name on File 2. You can not specify a key from the secondary join file. But if File 2 contains both the SSN and the Last Name, why not join File 2 to File 1 and key the join file by Last Name and SSN from File 2? > Does anybody know a good CLLE reference on OPENQRYF?
