Wuld you recommend File Information DataStructure for controlling
errors or using Lo(73-74) indicator ?
Can anyone please differentiate these two by giving examples to
work on V5R1....in which cases it woud be better use *INFDS and Lo
indicator?Pls provide me examsples

Use neither of the above in V5R1. Read about the E-extender and %error.
They are better than the error indicator for I/O error Also look at the
%tatus BIF. It can be used for program errors. Finally, have a look at
Monitor Groups. They also should be a part of your error handling. They can
work in conjunction with the other two.
