I would agree with you Simon, but for one thing. Rochester have already made it plain that they do not want to support native file access to databases that utilize new capabilities. I'm not fully up-to-date on the latest-and-greatest database stuff so I don't know if they have actually implemented that policy yet, or if it is still in the future. The result will be that if I switch to SQL I may not be able to use that DB in a native mode.
