A word of caution/advice on this feature - I do a similar thing here; however; what can happen is someone moves the cursor off of the first position (I have eliminated most by reconfiguring the emulation keys) and viola, your are scanning in partial barcodes. The other solution is to configure the scanning device to do an auto enter after each successful scan too, therefore only allowing one 'funny' scan through to your program. You'll need to make sure the barcode data fills the whole field. Is there a way I can make the field automatically enter once the barcode has been scanned? Is there a display attribute, or any other DDS keyword that will handle that?
