Once accomplished, who can read it?  If it can't be read, why bother
printing it? 21 cpi is pretty tiny.

If the printer is a Client Access attached printer, are you using Host Print
Transform?   If so, try without.  And vice versa.

Another choice would be to go to legal size paper instead of letter size.

I have a report that is 220 chars wide. I can't get it to print properly on
our laser printer (8.5 x 11). I only get about 192. I have tried to play
with the compression settings, but nothing seems to change beyond about 15
CPI.

Has anyone else done a report that wide before? If so what settings have you
used?
