>Pardon me for jumping in, but we already know that most of the items are desirable to most people. I still think you will get a skewed representation of what people want if you do the $ thing. What if the only enhancements I want are an $80 and a $30. Well instead of being able to convey to you that I wanted the $30 I will have to spend my money on stuff that I may never use, and you would think that I really wanted it because it made it into my budget. Of course I refrain from spending $20 dollars of it, but that would be going against the principles of being an American, if someone gives you $100 to spend, you spend it:-) That is why I would still suggest that you go in an order of least wanted to most wanted. I also just want to note that I do appreciate that the development group takes the time to question us. So we want to know what you want most. I'm glad that we managed to set the prices in a way that is forcing you to choose. Remember that it's not the individual ballots that we're interested in. It's the sum of the information in all of them. If A and B are both desirable but too expensive to pick together, then chances are that A will be more desirable for some and B will be more desirable for others. If you pick A and thus can't pick B, and then nobody else picks B, then it wouldn't matter if you had been able to pick B anyway, since your single pick would have been a faint cry in the wilderness.
