Pardon me for jumping in, but we already know that most of the items are
desirable to most people.  So we want to know what you want most.  I'm
glad that we managed to set the prices in a way that is forcing you to
choose.

Remember that it's not the individual ballots that we're interested in.
It's the sum of the information in all of them.  If A and B are both
desirable but too expensive to pick together, then chances are that A
will be more desirable for some and B will be more desirable for
others.  If you pick A and thus can't pick B, and then nobody else picks
B, then it wouldn't matter if you had been able to pick B anyway, since
your single pick would have been a faint cry in the wilderness.
