Thanks for the congrats!  To you and Eric and Joe and Alan as well!

The big day is still a couple of months away, but things are
proceeding well so far.  The ultrasound showed all the right parts
at the right places.  So hopefully she'll arrive healthy at the
right time.

Actually, yes, she will be our 1st child.  But as far as I know,
"parental leave of absence" in this country isn't limited to the 1st
child.  (There are two types of LOA in this situation:  "pregnancy"
and "parental".  I only qualify for the latter, of course!)  She'll
be the 1st grand-child for my parents and for Sylvana's too, so she
will almost certainly be spoiled rotten. ;-)

E-mail cigars to everyone?  Well, virtual chocolate cigars maybe!
