I would recommend:

HCvtOpt(*DATETIME)
D Time_Current    S               T
D Date_Current    S               D   DATFMT(*ISO)
D Time_CurrentN   S              6S 0
D Date_CurrentN   S              8S 0
C                   Time                    Date_Current
C                   Time                    Time_Current
C                   move      Date_Current  Date_CurrentN
C                   move      Time_Current  Time_CurrentN

Now you can calculate woth date-fields, use the nummeric once etc.
The layout is always CCYYMMDD

D TimStmp        S               Z   INZ

C                      TIME                        TimStmp
- You have date in iso format

Then You may change date format after substring from TimStmp by move
command.
