Ola Peter, are you sure a record was read? if not, the data would be blanks (hex 40). it's also a good idea to put an INZ keyword on the DS definition spec. This will intialize the numerics in your ds to zero on pgm initialization, so that you won't run into data decimal problems later in your pgm. hth, Rick -----original message-------- Buenos días!
