I wrote a CL to be used in the PDM environment that 'recognizes' the type of file that you are creating and loads the command with the parameters that you set. ( you have to set the defaults in the code ). Anything that it doesn't recognize you can add. Anything you want to change is pretty easy to change. It handles ILE compiles by displaying a window for type of compile selection. Once compiled you can create a PDM option, pass the correct parameters and the appropriate create command will be prompted with the defaults that YOU want. This has worked great here to standardize the compile options of all programmers. If you would like the source and a description of how to set it up contact me directly.
