This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Nice try. I did check my QTEMP and found that file. I saved it to a save file and deleted it. I was still able to debug the program, and see the source. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hi Rob, I believe that the SQL precompiler spits the precompiled RPG code out to QTEMP/QSQLTEMP1 which is then used as input to the RPG compiler. What this means is that before you issue the STRDBG you must have member FTPLOGON (if that is what it is called) in your job's QTEMP library in a source file called QSQLTEMP1.
