Sorry everyone I've just figured it out. I had added it on the AS400 host
table but not in my own PC host table as that particular AS400 was not in
the network DNS.

Sorry should have checked,

Jenny

Subject: New host name for CA AS400 to PC transfer

How do I specify a different system name in Client Access data transfer
(another AS400 that I have the TCPIP address for but that isn't recognised
by it's system name, not on host table). Is it easier to add it to a
windows host table?

In the past I have only had to type in the AS400 name but this one must not
be defined to the system as it is not recognised.

Thanks all,

Jenny
