Actually, Frank, since I'm a ... what? "Premium?" ... member of iSeries, I was able to download the code. The date was February of 1994. And, in fact, it DOES send messages using the ECS modem to a pager. I got this info from a member of this group and I'll be darned if I can remember who it was.
