For my wish list, I would like to see all of the language compilers, (CL, DDS, CMD) allow for some form of /COPY. This helps in the enforcement of standards, and like most standards they are subject to change. So changing a single source member and recompiling would save a whole bunch of man hours. Also, when performing a system wide change to a variable I can go to my dictionary and make the change and recompile the DSPF, PRTF, PF, LF and RPG and have it pretty much handled, but I have to manually go through each CMD and CL source members to make the changes. It would be nice if the CMD and CL source types could make use of a REFFLD in their variable declarations. Lastly, If a source member has special compile options, they could be included in the source somewhere. Even if it's within a /COPY type of member. Not just RPG, but all the languages. All the CRT commands.
