> Correct me if I am wrong. OK - I will <grin> The SP signature has nothing to do with parms. It is a function of two things, the names of the _procedures_ and the _order_ in which they are exported. The RPG Redbook ("Who knew.....") covers some of this as does the ILE Concepts manual. While it would be a nice idea if the types/lengths ( but not the names ) of the parms played a part in the signature they don't. It is up to you to ensure that they remain compatible. In fact other than the actual generated code to handle the parms, there is zero information on parms recorded in the module let alone the SP that results from it. Jon Paris Partner400
