Mark, A MODS doesn't always work out as slick as you might like because you have to reset the occurrence before a call. I use a storage toolkit that handles the allocation, offsetting, sorting, etc. for MODS like structures. You can download that toolkit for free, source included from www.iseries-toolkit.org. There is some documentation on the storage toolkit procedures here: http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=9157&group_id=39365 http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=10305&group_id=39365 David Morris >>> MWalter@hanoverwire.com 04/09/02 11:54AM >>> Barbara & Bob, That's what I thought. What I'm looking to do is to resemble a recordset via a MODS. Instead of passing the entire MODS just passing a pointer to the MODS. I assume it works the same way with an OCCURS clause as it does with a DIM. Thanks, Mark
