Hello all, I've tried to go about this in a different manor. What I'm trying is to return a pointer to an array of Rows. I have a 'main' procedure that defines a based array that is the same length of the record. In my SQL procedure I also have a based array. I issue a select count(*) into :count from the file and allocate the memory for the array using the count * the size of the array. I then open a cursor and run through the cursor and load the array. Then I return the pointer to the array. Now, in my calling program, I can see the correct data in the array. The problem is that the number of elements being allocated is the number on the DIM statement. Not the actual number of elements being filled. How do I determine the number of actual elements in the array?
