I don't see that on V5R1 either.  At least not in the Code/400 help nor the
ILE RPG Reference.

CHGCMDDFT is the normal way to change this.  I don't think DBGVIEW(????) is
allowed on the H spec, unless thats new after V4R4.

Buck gave me the low-down.  I usually don't even look at the DBGVIEW parm.
Is there a way to change the default besides putting it in my program as an
H spec?
