I'd only like to add that this isn't a contest where my opinion 'wins' and
others 'lose.'  _Every_ person who has gently remarked that *NEW/*CALLER
should be addressed is RIGHT!  I just picked a place to start.  Some
organisations will find a simple "put it all in AG('QILE')" to work.  What I
aim to do is to see that a beginner can understand why that choice is, or is
not valid for her situation.

It's all about trade-offs.
