You can also get RPG IV and CLLE programs to run in it by compiling with DFTACTGRP(*YES). On the CRT commands(*), the default value for the activation group parameter is QILE (a named activation group). There's nothing special about QILE - it's just a name that IBM picked to be the command default. If you want to use the same named activation group for all your ILE programs, using QILE is the same as using RICK. (*) Except for CRTPGM, where the default is *NEW. Barbara Morris
