Aaron,

Do you mean file _names_ greater than 10 positions long?

The EXTFILE() keyword (in V5R1) provides syntax to support file names as
long as the system limit. Currently the system limit is 10 positions for
a file name. When and if that ever changes, it would be relatively easy
(forgive me Barbara) to support them using EXTFILE and EXTMBR keywords.

EXTFILE('qgpl/bigassfilename')
