There's a difference in what I suggested and what you answered. I was
saying I don't believe there are shops (plural) that have said "Convert
to free-form RPG next week). I do believe and in fact know that there
are RPG shops that are moving to RPG IV from RPG III, and the CRTRPGSRC
and CVTILExxx commands are the way to go. RPGIII programs that are not
maintained, and "just run" don't need to be converted just to be
converted, but other than that, people should be moving to RPG IV if
they haven't already done so. No question.
