In a CL you can use the DSPFD to create an outfile. Then you could read through the outfile and use the RTVMBRD FILE(&LIB/&FILE) MBR(&MBR) NBRCURRCD(&RCNT) to determine the nunber of records. jclouse@abbottfoods.com@midrange.com on 02/14/2002 03:23:18 PM Please respond to rpg400-l@midrange.com Sent by: rpg400-l-admin@midrange.com To: rpg400-l@midrange.com cc: Subject: Multiple Member File... -- Hello all... I have a question... I have a file which has multiple members that are created and removed constantly. Is there any way to check for a member that has Zero records in it? Can this be checked though a CL program or a RPG program? I know I can do a 'DSPFD' interactively, and see which members have no records, but am looking for a way for a program to do this for me. Any ideas?
