The INFDS will show the number of records in a RPG, you would have to ovrdbf
and open
the file/member in the RPG. This is the old way, the new way would be to
use the
file API(s), off hand - start with the sorceress rpg book, I cannot even
remember right
now if I have used them, let alone where - this week has been too hard on
me.

The other "old" way would be to do the dspfd to a outfile and go from there
to read it in
either with a rpg or a c/l program.

Subject: Multiple Member File...

--

Hello all...

I have a question... I have a file which has multiple members that are
created and removed constantly.

Is there any way to check for a member that has Zero records in it? Can
this be checked though a CL program or a RPG program? I know I can do a
'DSPFD' interactively, and see which members have no records, but am looking
for a way for a program to do this for me.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jeff
