Actually, I just got this error myself a few days ago. In my case, I was fetching the fields into a data structure, and the data structure didn't have the same number of fields as my SQL statement was returning (IIRC, the data structure was missing a field). Also, here's a little amplification on "dspmsgd sql0326 qsqlmsg": Here's the secret to using DSPMSGD, as explained in the V4R5 "SQL Programming Concepts" manual's "SQLCODEs and SQLSTATEs" appendix: "Every SQLCODE has a corresponding message in message file QSQLMSG in library QSYS. The message ID for any SQLCODE is constructed by appending the absolute value (5 digits) of the SQLCODE to SQ and changing the third character to 'L' if the third character is a 0. For example, if the SQLCODE is -30070, the message ID is SQ30070."
