What I am suspecting the problem is
-- The host variable was specified in dynamic SQL. Host variables are
not valid in dynamic SQL.
Which would mean changing from:
FetchStmt='Fetch C1 into :' + %trim(aKeyFld(kaelem)) + ', :' +
%trim(aFld(faelem)) + ', :' + %trim(aResultFld(faelem));
...
C/EXEC SQL
C+ Prepare FetchStmt from :FetchStmt
C/END-EXEC
C if sqlcod<>0
...
C/EXEC SQL
C+ Execute FetchStmt
C/END-EXEC
...
To:
FetchStmt='Fetch C1 into ?,?,?';
...
C/EXEC SQL
C+ Prepare FetchStmt from :FetchStmt
C/END-EXEC
C if sqlcod<>0
...
C/EXEC SQL
C+ Execute FetchStmt using :packedk, :alpha, :alphar
C/END-EXEC
...
If this is my problem, then help me understand to do dynamically select the
variable types on the Execute FetchStmt using...
For example, the next time I run this program it may be :AlphaK, :Packed,
:PackedR
