Can understand why you'd want OPTIMIZE(*BASIC or *FULL) when DBGVIEW( is not *NONE). The extra time it takes to do the optimizing is probably more than the actual amount of time you'll save running the optimized code. But the behavior of the debugger is a little weird with RPG IV in general, so I would expect it to be even more strange with OPTIMIZE(*BASIC | *FULL).
