It might be because we're perforning Euro Conversion, but i found out that an error instead of the 'silent drop' that perform RPGIII is a better approach (especially when data goes trhiugh several calculation to ends up in a way that is absolute uncomprensible). At the very first time i got the error, i blamed IBM 'cause they send me the same answer that Hans told (be more precisly, if i'm not wrong, Barbara morris told 'what if the character dropped was the first digit of the money you get fro your work ??) but, after a couple of year of using it, I admit it is preferible to have the job halt on error instead that it will put out incorrect data that might be difficult to control That's my 2c...
