Hi Juan, If you have Client Access Express installed on the PC, you can add "IBM Client Access Express ActiveX Object Library" (c:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Shared\cwbx.dll). This will give you a Remote Command button you can place on a form. One of the properties of the button is the AS400 system to which you're connecting; another is the command string to be run on that system, e.g. "CALL PGMA PARM(x y z)". Any results you want to pass from the RPGLE to the VB program should be in the form of messages to the job log. As I recall, the help was not too bad, but if you'd like an example, I can send you one offline. hth, Peter Dow Dow Software Services, Inc. 909 425-0194 voice 909 425-0196 fax ----- Original Message ----- From: "Juan Robledo" <Juan_Robledo@irco.com> To: <rpg400-l@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, December 04, 2001 1:18 PM Subject: Visual Basic form -->AS/400 Pgm. > > Hi all, > How can i tie a VB form to a RPGLE pgm? > The VB will be passing Parms to the RPG, the Rpg will be writing a report. > If anyone can help, Please let me know. > Thanks in advance. > > Juan Robledo > Programmer Analyst > > _______________________________________________ > This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list > To post a message email: RPG400-L@midrange.com > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/rpg400-l > or email: RPG400-L-request@midrange.com > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
