Lets see, must be close to Friday for me - Have you considered moving your PC away from your girlfriend, or have you considered a new girlfriend :) Now as I recall, the old IBM 5211 mod 1 or was it 2 was VERY durable, it held down many a desks during floods; if you pampered it, it was fairly responsive, as for quiet, I could not tell, the darn S/34 and S/38 drowned out most of my thoughts and my own cries of pain and agony whenever I had to move one of those beasts around. But one thing you forgot to mention (I've been here a long time) do you consider the ultimate keyboard for a PC or a "green/amber/4 COLOR" dumb terminal???? I have a Dell at home, is working very nicely, at work a Compaq, somewhat stubborn when it comes to keying, and I do still get to work with some decision data amber screens from time to time, and they seem to like abuse :0 hope this helps.... Mark - almost Friday for me (you can't tell can you;) -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:rpg400-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of David Wright Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2001 12:41 PM To: 'rpg400-l@midrange.com' Subject: Keyboard Recommendations Hi All, A little off topic, but I have been struggling to find a good, responsive keyboard for a couple of months now, and was wondering if anyone out there has found the 'Ultimate Programming Keyboard'? My biggest demands are quick response (do not have to pound the keys), durability (you can pound the keys), and quiet (wake the girlfriend and die)... Any suggestions?
