Yes.  That is right.  It would still be executed, you just
wouldn't trace it in debug.

You need to skip a line of code totally?  I don't think that's
possible without modifying the source.

Easiest way I've found, while debugging go down to
the line you want to continue at, hit F6 to set a
breakpoint, then hit F12.  All code will not be
traced be skipped until it hits your breakpoint.
