     I would have mentioned your name re RTVQRYF, but when I
checked this morning, couldn't see any name associated with it.

We have used the program alot and so-far (touch wood) have not
had any problems with it.
I suspect as you say, you may have to re-compile the query under
certain circumstances - possibly if the files have different field layouts
etc.

To all I have sent the program to - it may not work.

Needless to say, the person who originally started the thread and
whom I have sent the program to is having problems with it......
