I tried this:

a) http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/v4r5/ic2924/index.htm
b) Then, on the SEARCH field, enter INFDS.
c) An extra window will come up and the first reference is

 INDEX Index for RPG/400 Reference

d) On the RPG/400 Reference Manual, under SPECIAL CHARACTERS, look for the *DETL
parameter; in indented format you will see something like : file information
data structure (INFDS), 2.3.1
e) In there, you may see the information you may be looking for.

Hope that helps!

Does anyone know of where I can get a list of all the fields and there positions
in the INFDS?

Every thing says to look in the Data Management guide, but that just points me
to the Information Center. Where I cant find a thing.

The RPG manuals have some of the fields, but skips all around.

Thanks

Chris Beck
