Mike, If your fax setup is like others I've seen. The fax/printer is defined as a generic/line type printer. The faxing commands can be sent on what is basically an over-printed line (space before and after is zero). The fax software decodes each line as it receives it, it doesn't overprint and then decode. So, all you would have to do is to convert the original spool file to a physical converting to FCFC control codes. Read each line of this file, whenever you reach the header of a new customer the next line output is the fax number command overprinted on the previous line.
