I just got done with something like this - I used CPYF to a 'copy' name (
i.e., copy CESTRS to CESTRSX ) once I had identified the record(s) I wanted to
delete, which happened to be at the end of the PF - so I found the record # of
the last good record and entered that # in the 'copy to' field in the CPYF
command.  The PF you're copying to will have all records up to this point.
Then CLRPFM the PF with bad data, CPYF back, and off you go...

Does anybody know of a way to delete a record that has invalid data in it?
What I mean by "Invalid data" is that when I edit the file through DFU the
record only partially shows up and the message "Record contains invalid
data" pops up
