This should work. I've done it with one field but it should work with
multiples.

UPDATE table1 SET (field1, field2) = (SELECT field3, field4 FROM table2
WHERE
table1.field5 = table2.field6)

You can even limit the records selected from table1 to update by adding

WHERE table1.anotherfield LIKE 'XX%'
