Thanks for the update. So if I have to convert time to GMT time I have to
add x hours to my date and time field. Questions I have is, the date/time
fields are not defined as date format they are defined as 2 different
numeric fields. Do I have to format date & time fields to time stamp format
before I do adddur opcode?.

Question 2:

Is there a way I can retrieve a system value from with my rpg program? I
believe I can set the offset time in the system value QUTCOFFSET and use
this to add date/time field to get GMT time.

Thanks
GG

Use the TIME and ADDDUR op-codes to a timestamp field:

     d timestamp s z

     c time timestamp
     c adddur 6:*hours timestamp
