For the transform you are talking about you should not need to install
anything else that I know of.  You will need a package called PASE if you
are going to use the PCL, PDF, or Postscript to AFP transforms.  For
specific usage I encourage you to read IBM's Infoprint Server User Guide
(G544-5775-00) pages 77-89.  Read carefully because they tried to pack a
lot of information into those few pages, too few in my opinion.  But,
anyway, the function works basically like this.  You setup a PSF
configuration object to their specs and a print device which doesn't
actually go anywhere (loop-back).  When you send your spool files to this
device, instead of printing, it will process according to how you setup the
PSF object.  It will either convert to a PDF spool file, convert to a PDF
stream file, or email a PDF attachment.  If you're e-mailing I recommend
the "email PDF attachment" method.
