Take a look at "Who Knew You Could Do That with RPG IV? A Sorcerer's Guide
to System Access and More" in the IFS section.

I know there is a place where you can look up some examples of C API's in
RPG that will allow you to read/write/open/close/scandir/etc but I am not
sure where I have placed the link.  Can someone else post some links for
