Subject: RE: joined logical, three physicals, same record format names

You need a different record format for each file

Simple enough - however, how do I do that on the LF definition, or do I have
to
somehow do that on the F-spec (the files are used all over, and they have
the
same record format name - too much time to change all that code) but the
records
are the same and I would prefer one loop to read than three to get what I
need.

I should know this, but then again, by boss asked me about #Gsort the other
day
and I went completely blank(though I have worked on the S/34-36 for a "few"
years)

By the way, how have you been dealing with reading/getting the manuals for
"DDS"??

TIA
